What is this method?
Pilates is a low-impact exercise designed to strengthen muscles while stretching, improving postural alignment and balance. Pilates is a mixture of strengthening exercises with the many hundreds of moves concentrating on muscle development in the body, emphasising core strength. This technique helps not only to improve general fitness but overall well-being.

After teaching Pilates in various studios for several years, I founded The Authentic Pilates Studio in 2008. Balancing a career and family was both rewarding and challenging, so after selling the business in 2017, I took a few sabbatical years, which extended until September 2021 due to the pandemic.
Driven by a deep passion for inspiring healthier living, I launched a unique wellness boutique in SW London—Classical Pilates & Physio Clinic. My heart and soul are fully dedicated to sharing the Contrology method created by Joseph Pilates, as I pursue my dream of spreading his incredible legacy to as many people as possible.
