Reformer Class
Experience a true, classical Pilates Reformer class in an intimate 7-person setting. This authentic full-body workout follows the complete classical Pilates routine on the Reformer machine, designed to enhance core strength, flexibility, and posture. With personalised corrections and focused attention to form, each session ensures optimal results in a small-group environment.

Open Studio
Practice your Pilates routine independently with full access to all classical apparatus designed by Joseph Pilates. An instructor is on hand to supervise, provide guidance, and ensure a safe environment. Ideal for deepening your practice, building confidence, and maintaining consistency between private or group classes. Come and go freely within the scheduled session time.

Private Session
A fully personalised Pilates experience tailored to your individual needs, using all of Joseph Pilates’ classical apparatus and Mat work. Ideal for addressing specific goals, injuries, or refining technique, this focused one-on-one session enhances strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. You also have the option to share the session with a friend or partner for a more connected and motivating experience.
What is this method?
Pilates is a low-impact exercise designed to strengthen muscles while stretching, improving postural alignment and balance. Pilates is a mixture of strengthening exercises with the many hundreds of moves concentrating on muscle development in the body, emphasising core strength. This technique helps not only to improve general fitness but overall well-being.

After teaching Pilates in various studios for several years, I founded The Authentic Pilates Studio in 2008. Balancing a career and family was both rewarding and challenging, so after selling the business in 2017, I took a few sabbatical years, which extended until September 2021 due to the pandemic.
Driven by a deep passion for inspiring healthier living, I launched a unique wellness boutique in SW London—Classical Pilates & Physio Clinic. My heart and soul are fully dedicated to sharing the Contrology method created by Joseph Pilates, as I pursue my dream of spreading his incredible legacy to as many people as possible.
